THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE MISSION
Terrie Hoover, President and Founder, leads Foundation operations and is your contact for questions about programs, support, and ways to help.
Our purpose is simple: help people who may feel left out of traditional fitness find a welcoming starting point. Wrestling supplies the energy and teamwork—not a requirement to wrestle.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide accessible fitness and wellness opportunities for children, adults, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. We build strength, independence, and confidence at every stage of life while removing barriers to health equity and creating a supportive community where everyone belongs.
OUR VISION
WrestleFit has built a strong community presence through inclusive outreach programs that welcome everyone. Our programs extend beyond fitness by creating a sense of belonging and shared purpose. Professional wrestling plays a powerful role in our outreach, naturally connecting people across generations.
The values of wrestling—discipline, resilience, respect, and teamwork—inspire participation, increase engagement, and help individuals feel empowered. By blending movement education with a love of professional wrestling, WrestleFit strengthens community bonds and motivates people who may not otherwise engage in traditional fitness programs.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Every person is different. That is not a problem. It is why activities can change to fit the person.
Someone may stand. Someone else may sit. Some people need more time or a different explanation. Every starting point deserves respect.
We adapt the movement to the person instead of expecting the person to fit the movement.
OUR CORE VALUES
These values guide how every program, decision, and relationship should feel.
Strength is trying again, learning something new, growing more independent, and doing something today that felt impossible yesterday.
Every small success can help people learn to believe in themselves.
Everyone deserves kindness, patience, dignity, and respect.
We support each other, celebrate each other, and grow together.
Everyone deserves a place to participate. We focus on what a person can do.
Movement can help make everyday life feel easier and safer.
Showing up and trying is something to be proud of. Progress happens one step at a time.
Programs should challenge people without making them feel unsafe. Activities can change when needed.
OUR FOUNDATION PROMISE
Your starting point does not disqualify you.
Start where you are. We will help you move forward from there.
WRESTLING-INSPIRED FITNESS
Programs may use fun ideas, movements, equipment, or spaces inspired by professional wrestling. Regular Foundation fitness programs are not professional wrestling training.
You do not have to fight anyone, wrestle another person, know anything about wrestling, or even like wrestling.
CLEAR BOUNDARIES
WrestleFit Foundation is legally and publicly separate from WrestleFit Training and Lifestyle Center, NOW Elite Pro Wrestling Academy, and New Ohio Wrestling. Their services, training, events, fees, and operations are not Foundation programs unless a formal relationship is approved and clearly disclosed.
